Routing Guide : A document used to govern the routing of all shipments for a company. A Routing Guide dictates the method of shipment and what carriers are to be used.

Software as a Service (Saas): A web-based, or on-demand software application hosted on a remote server. This is an alternative to software that is loaded onto the users computer.

Shipper : The party (consignor) in which the shipment originates from. The carrier picks up the shipment from the Shipper .
